Tom and Jerry Cocktail Recipe

If you like egg nog, you'll probably also enjoy a Tom and Jerry cocktail. Similar to egg nog, but served hot, this cocktail is a Brandy based drink made with eggs and either milk or water. Around the holiday season, you can sometimes find T and J mix at your local supermarket. Otherwise, use the recipe below to make your own at home.
How to make a Tom and Jerry Cocktail
| Start by separating an Egg and then beat the egg yolk and egg white separately. Fold these two together into a mug. Add 1/2 oz of Simple Syrup (you can also substitute 1 tsp of Powdered Sugar) Add 1 oz of Brandy or Cognac. Add 1 oz of Dark Rum. Top off the mug with hot Milk or hot water and stir. Garnish by sprinkling Nutmeg on top.
