Ahh, the Sake Bomb - it goes great with sushi and is best served in large groups. The ingredients are simple, just sake and beer, it's the presentation that sets this one apart. Grab a pair of chopsticks, the kind with squared off sides that you get with take out, to suspend your sake shot above your beer until your ready to enjoy.
I was at a restaurant where they were serving these to a large group for someone's birthday and everyone sat around the table and slammed their hands on the table top until the first shot glass dropped and then it was bottoms up for everyone. Fun, but messy. Decide if you want to be wearing your drink and drop your bomb accordingly. Cheers!
How to make a Sake Bomb Cocktail
Start with a beer mug or a pint glass and fill it 3/4 full with Beer. Lay 2 chopsticks across the edge of your beer and balancel a shot glass filled with Sake on top. When your ready, move the chopsticks to drop your shot of sake into your beer - bottoms up! Enjoy responsibly with friends! |
