Roman Coffee Cocktail Recipe

Roman Coffee rounds out this month's tribute to coffee drinks. This cocktail include Sambuca, an Italian liqueur and is sweetened, like so many other coffee cocktails, with whipped cream.
When in Rome, do as the Romans do - that's why you'll want to garnish this drink with three coffee beans. When Sambuca is served on it's own, it's usally served with three coffee beans that bring out the flavor of the liqueur and also represent health, happiness and prosperity. May you have this and more in 2010!
How to make a Roman Coffee Cocktail
Start by adding 2 oz of Sambuca to a coffee mug. Fill the remainder of the mug with Coffee and top with Whipped Cream. Garnish with 3 Coffee Beans (traditionally served in the drink, not on the saucer). Enjoy responsibly with friends! |
