Red Eye Cocktail Recipe

I've got to be honest, this Red Eye Cocktail recipe kind of skeeves me out with the raw egg and all, but some people absolutely swear by it as the best cure for a hangover, so I felt the need to include it. If you like Bloody Mary's, this drink starts similarly with a base of tomato juice and vodka. The addition of beer is a nice touch, but the raw egg on top was the point at which I had to decline. I'll let the rest of you decide for yourselves. Cheers!
How to make a Red Eye Cocktail
Start with a pint glass and add 1 1/2 oz of Vodka and 2 oz of Bloody Mary Mix or Tomato Juice. Fill the rest of the glass with cold Beer leaving a little room at the top. Garnish by cracking a raw Egg on the top and serve. Enjoy responsibly with friends! |
