Old Fashioned Cocktail Recipe

An Old Fashioned is indeed old, but probably not quite as fashionable as a Martini or a Manhattan. However, when made correctly, this classic cocktail can be quite tasty as well.

How to make an Old Fashioned Cocktail

Start by grabbing a old fashioned glass and muddle a slice of Orange, 2-3 dashes of Angostura Bitters, and a teaspoon of Simple Syrup. Then, fill the glass with ice and add 2 oz of Whiskey (Rye or Bourbon will do nicely). Garnish with a Cherry and serve. Please note: While there may be other recipes out there suggesting that you top this drink off with Soda Water, please don't - it just dilutes a perfectly good cocktail. While this may or may not fill the glass as prepared, it will taste better than watering it down.

Enjoy responsibly with friends!
