Mulled Cider Recipe

Mulled Cider is more of a mocktail than a cocktail, but you probably need a bit of a break in between Christmas and New Years anyway. This recipe is family friendly - you can serve it everyone from grandma to the grandkids - and it's nice and warm to boot. What makes this recipe special are all of the extra spices that flavor it. Happy Holidays!

How to make a Mulled Cider Cocktail

Start with a big pot, preferably one with a lid. Add 1/2 gallon of Apple Cider (not apple juice) and 1/2 cup of brown sugar and heat on low, stirring until all of the sugar is dissolved.

In a cheese cloth bag, place 3 Cinnamon Sticks, 10 whole Cloves and 1 tsp of Allspice berries and then tie tight. Place this bag of spices in the apple cider and continue to heat until warmed all the way through. For a finishing touch, garnish with a slice of Apple, dried or fresh.

Enjoy responsibly with friends!
