The Hurricane Cocktail is another favorite from New Orleans and very popular among the tourist crowd. Fruity and fun, it definitely packs a punch! While there are a few substitutions you might be able to make if you're short on ingredients, but it's worth it to make the real deal if you can.

How to make a Hurricane Cocktail

Grab a cocktail shaker and add 1 1/2 oz of Light Rum and 1 1/2 oz of Dark Rum. Add 1 oz of Lime Juice (the real stuff) and 1 oz of Orange Juice. Add 1/4 cup of Passion Fruit Juice or 1 tablespoon of Passion Fruit Syrup and 1 teaspoon of Superfine Sugar. Shake it up until the sugar is dissolved. Add 1 teaspoon of Grenadine and ice to your shaker and shake it up a little more. Half fill a highball glass with ice and strain your cocktail into the the glass. For a finishing touch, garnish with a slice of Orange and a Cherry.

Enjoy responsibly with friends!
