Harvey Wallbanger
The Harvey Wallbanger was first mixed in 1952 and named for a California surfer. Legend has it that this surfer, Harvey, loved drinking screwdrivers spiked with Galliano. After losing a surfing competition, Harvey found himself at his favorite bar where he was a regular and had a few too many.
When he got up to leave, Harvey was so impaired that he began to bump into furniture and even the walls. From that day forward Harvey became known as "Wallbanger" and so followed the name of his favorite drink.
While most often enjoyed on the rocks, this drink can also be prepared frozen. Check out the recipes below to find your favorite version of this classic drink. It's perfect for your next pool party or backyard BBQ.
