Ireland is known as the Emerald Isle because it's so beautifully green - as is this cocktail. While the Creme de Menthe gives this drink a clean minty taste, the bitters add a bit of extra flavor. Whether you're Irish or not, mix up one of these this St. Patrick's Day.
How to make an Emerald Isle Cocktail
Start with a cocktail shaker and fill it with ice. Add 2 oz of Gin, 1/4 oz of Green Creme de Menthe and 3 dashes of Bitters. Shake it up and strain it into an old fashioned glass filled with ice. For a finishing touch, garnish with a sprig of fresh Mint. Enjoy responsibly with friends! |
