El Presidente Cocktail Recipe

It's President's Day, so why not celebrate with an El Presidente Cocktail! This particular cocktail was actually named for Gerardo Machado, the 5th President of Cuba (hence the rum), but it's still a great way to celebrate a day off. To the President and Presidents to come - enjoy!

How to make a Presidente Cocktail

Start with an old fashioned glass and fill it with ice. Add 1 1/2 oz of Rum, 1/2 oz of Dry Vermouth and 1/2 oz of Curacao. Add a splash of Grenadine. Stir it all up and then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a Lemon twist before serving.

Enjoy responsibly with friends!
