Creamsicle

A Creamsicle cocktail has to be one of the tastiest summer time drinks out there. The first time I discovered this delicious drink was at a college room to room party and I've been looking for a recipe ever since. I've found a few and these two are my favorite. Try them both to find out which is your favorite. This first recipe is for a non-frozen version - a great option for those time when you don't have a blender available.

On the rocks...

Cocktail Start by filling a tall glass with ice. Add 1 oz of Light Rum (for extra flavor, you may want to add either vanilla rum or orange flavored rum). Add 1/2 oz of Vanilla Liqueur and 1/2 oz of Triple Sec. Fill the rest of your glass with equal parts of Cream and Orange Juice (use no pulp for a smoother texture). Shake and serve or garnish with a slice of Orange for a finishing touch.

Enjoy responsibly with friends!

Frozen...This one's my favorite!

Cocktail In a blender, add 1/2 cup of ice, 1 oz of Light Rum, 1/2 oz of Triple Sec, 1/2 oz of Vanilla Liqueur. Next add 1/2 scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream and 1/2 scoop of Orange Sherbet. If you like a more creamy taste, use a little more ice cream than sherbet; if you like a stronger orange flavor, add more sherbet than ice cream. You can also thin this drink by adding either Milk or Orange Juice. Serve with a spoon or garnish with a popsicle stick.

Enjoy responsibly with friends!
