Brazilian Coffee Cocktail Recipe

Happy 2010! We're kicking off January with this recipe for Brazilian Coffee. Just about everyone has resolutions for the new year and mine usually includes accomplishing more than I did last year. That's why this month is dedicated to doctoring up your favorite cup of joe. Have a cocktail, but have your caffiene too! No matter what your resolution, everyone can use a little jolt to get them off the couch and ready to go go go!
This recipe includes brandy and a bit of orange liqueur sweetened with whipped cream and a bit of brown sugar all mixed with your favorite coffee. It's great for a Sunday morning if you need a little "hair of the dog" and probably better after dinner and served with dessert. Either way, enjoy 2010!
How to make a Brazilian Coffee Cocktail
Start with your favorite mug. Add 3/4 oz of Coffee Liqueur, 3/4 oz of Brandy and 3/4 oz of Orange Liqueur. Fill the rest of your mug with lack Coffee, but be sure to leave room for Whipped Cream. Top it off by sprinkling with Brown Sugar just before serving. Enjoy responsibly with friends! |
