Although the Americano was born in Italy in the 1860s, in the 1900's it was renamed after the Americans who enjoyed this drink so much. This is indeed a classic cocktail that every bartender should have in their repertoire.
How to make an Americano Cocktail
| Start with an old fashioned glass and fill it with ice. Add 1/2 oz of Campari and 1/2 oz of Sweet Vermouth. Stir the drink and then top it off with Soda Water. Garnish with a slice of Orange and a Lemon twist for a finishing touch.
