To the untrained eye, A Day at the Beach might look like a lot like a Tequila Sunrise. However, once you taste it, you will definitely appreciate the difference. Made with rum and amaretto, this has got a bit of a more tropical taste - it's perfect for enjoying on a hot summer day.
How to make an A Day at the Beach Cocktail
Grab your shaker and fill it with ice. Add 1 oz of Rum, 1/2 oz of Amaretto, 4 oz of Orange Juice. Shake it up and pour your cocktail into a highball glass. Drizzle 1/2 oz of Grenadine on the top - by not stirring the drink, the Grenadine will sink to the bottom and create a varied color effect on the way down. For a finishing touch, add a wedge of Pineapple with a fresh Strawberry. Enjoy responsibly with friends! |
